My thought this evening as I commute home from Orchard Rd is aboutw loving selflessly. Loving selflessly is loving a person enough to let him do whatever he wants, even if it means that you will have to take a back seat, receive a little less attention than usual and participate from afar. Loving selflessly means letting the person you love find himself, even if it means putting up with awkward and annoying phases. Loving someone selflessly means letting the person you love connect with other individuals, even if it means that you will have to listen to him or her talk about someone other than yourself with admiration.

Loving selflessly means putting the happiness of the person you love first.

Well, not quite bears…

Not too long ago, in a land not too far away,
Cinnamoroll decided to ask LMC over to spend the day
“Some leisurely chat over a spot of tea
and biscuits too if you will so please.”

“Milk and sugar with your tea?”

“Oh thank you but just plain will do for me!”

So with a yikkity yikkity and a yakkity yak,
Cinnamoroll and LMC settled down to their chat.
And by and by, who should come ambling by
but good ol’ Mr Bump, all dandy and spry!

“Mr Bump! Mr Bump! Just the chap we wanted to see!
Come sit and share a spot of tea!”
And so it was just meant to be
that tea-for-two was indeed best for three!
